Italy- Milan & Lake Garda

This summer I visited Italy for the first time with my boyfriend. We got really cheap flights to Milan Bergamo with Ryanair. Originally when planning the holiday we had just planned to stay in Milan. After doing some research I realised how close Milan was to Lake Garda and decided to venture there during the trip. We travelled to Milan arrived very early in the morning, so we had the full day to explore the fashion capital. We stayed one night in Milan and then took the train to Peschiera Del Garda where we spent three nights. Milan: As beautiful as Milan was I didn't really love the city. I had different expectations before travelling there. The city is busy and full of amazing buildings such as the famous cathedral. ( See pictures). The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping mall, is absolutely incredible to walk through and of course have a nosey at all the designer shops. Known for its elaborate canal system and other risky elements such as the legal aspects of drugs and prostitution. Amsterdam surprised me when I first visited in November 2015. I don’t know what I expected but I absolutely loved the city.
